MUNI Award in Science and Humanities JUNIOR STAR
Objective of support
The main goal of the MUNI Award in Science and Humanities JUNIOR STAR (hereinafter referred to as MASH JUNIOR STAR) is to create conditions for exceptionally promising researchers shortly after Ph.D. to prepare for the submission of an application for a prestigious individual grant (GA ČR JUNIOR STAR, ERC, or others).
The MASH JUNIOR STAR holder will receive 2 M CZK/year for 2 years. The total budget is max 4 M CZK for the project. In the case of gaining an individual prestigious grant, support will be terminated on the start date of the awarded grant.
Candidate profile
An eligible applicant is a junior scientist who submitted an application to the GAČR JUNIOR STAR in 2023 for Masaryk University and was ranked among the top 20% of applicants but did not receive funding from the GA ČR. Eligible candidates and project support have been informed.
Submission of an application
Documentation for the application must be uploaded to ISEP in PDF format including all attachments. A fully approved cover sheet is required for inclusion in the evaluation.
