Announcemnet of the results of the Career Restart 2026 Call
The results of the Career Restart Call for 2026 were announced at the annual GAMU conference at CEITEC MU atrium on 8th of December 2025.
Career Restart is a grant for scientists who have interrupted their research career, for example due to parental leave or other major reasons. The category will facilitate and accelerate the return of young talented staff to productive scientific careers and increase the percentage of their representation in independent, senior research positions.
The Call was open from 1st September to 10th October 2025. Selected applicants will receive funding of 500,000 CZK per year for two years. Further information about this form of support can be found on the GAMU website, Career Restart category.
